We invite you to come celebrate our 125th Anniversary this summer while you are on the Island and to participate with us in our worship services. We begin this exciting summer season knowing that the Chapel is in good shape to carry on its mission and continue to be a contributing spiritual and social center in our village for many more years to come.
Minister’s Letter
Dear Friends,
There are many good things to anticipate at the Chapel this summer. This will be the 125th anniversary of the Chapel's ministry in our village. Although we will celebrate throughout the summer, we have set aside one Sunday in July (July 13th) and one Sunday in August (August 17th) for official day long celebrations, including special services, music, and cabaret evenings on our Chapel green with food, entertainment and reflection on the Chapel's life and work during the last 125 years.
125th Anniversary
This year, for our 125th Anniversary, we have planned a wide variety of events for everyone to enjoy. We will also take steps to ensure our future well being and begin a program to provide financial stability for maintaining our properties and grounds and a platform allowing perpetual care of the Columbarium. This will be a multi-year strategy of building our endowment fund and capital financial positions.
